A pocket full of posies

Although I should be doing tech work, I managed to fit in some productive op shopping this morning with great finds including books for badges, doilies for bunting, and this gorgeous wee lavender sachet doll. I love how she looks like she just stepped out of Alice in Wonderland!

She fits in very nicely with the Catherine Campbell and Sarah McNeil illustrations on my pinboard :)

Moxie

these are a few of my favourite things...

I have all my stock ready for tonight's Moxie Market, so as usual I have a few of my new favourite designs to show you :)

These include badges screenprinted on handwritten music paper and text from one of my picture books, cute wee illustrated badges and bows from some new fabrics.

World Sweet World

I am pleased to say that after many Trade Me bidding wars I have finally completed my collection of the World Sweet World Magazine! They are great wee NZ made mags with cool projects and inspiring designs. They stopped producing them as the editors had a baby but i'm hoping they will make some more in the near future :)

I also will be at the Moxie Market again next Friday 4th of March, and from now on they will be running the first Friday of every month so its easy to remember!

upcycled picture book stickers

I have a number of illustrations that for some reason or another wouldn't work well as badges, but would make great stickers. I have finally found the time to make them, and here are a couple of my favourites:

The three stickers pictured above work so well when grouped together as in the original illustration. They would be ideal for scrapbooking, and each design is unique!

 I am still unsure of how to group and package the stickers as they vary in style depending on the book they are from, but I hope to work it out soon and stock them in my online shop :)

The other thing I am excited about at the moment is my new corner punch that allows me to round corners like those on the sticker pictured above. I would also like to experiment with rounding the corners on my packaging and cards etc- its lots of fun :)

Felt shop revamped

Felt has just been updated, and so it was the perfect time to sort out my online shop.

A proper camera borrowed from tech means the photos now look sharper, and there are new listings to check out too!
